Environment policy

All plants and sales companies focus their environmental policy on the protection of the environment and natural resources. Our environmental policy is based on compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and is committed to the principle of continuous improvement.

We make an active contribution to protecting the environment through our increasingly efficient use of energy, through the treatment of sewage, through our own fully biological sewage treatment plants and through the consistent sorting and recycling of reusable materials.

Environmental policymaking is a community task for us. Information, training and the responsible participation of all employees is the basis for our environmental policy success. The environmental impact of all types of activity, products, packaging systems and processes is tested in advance. Our goal is to avoid and eliminate environmental pollution wherever possible and otherwise to reduce it to a minium by using environmentally friendly technologies.

All relevant environmental impacts are monitored and assessed. Procedures for ensuring compliance with our environmental policy are defined and implemented. If these methods require measurements and tests, they are recorded and documented. In order to correct deviations, adaptation measures are designed and constantly updated.

Prior to all planned activities, measures and procedures are developed, determined and updated continuously together with the relevant authorities and experts in order to avoid general emissions of substances or energy. We always hold an open dialogue with our business partners, suppliers, customers and the public, which contributes to a better mutual understanding and increased environmental protection. We advise our customers about all environmental aspects related to the handling and use of our products and the environmentally friendly disposal of the packaging used.
